Curbside Catwalk: Brooklyn's Dance Africa at BAM

Yesterday, while perusing the African inspired wares at BAM's annual Dance Africa! festival; I caught up with Lisa, the designer behind a collection of one-of-a-kind handcrafted accessories, that she calls "wearable art."
Rocking her own ruffled denim scarf and silver jewelry set,she completes her look with vintage shades and an animal themed straw hat. Though she recently cut off her signature afro, her line still carries the moniker of Mad Big Fro .
