Sarah Jessica Parker apparently got a used frock for the New York premiere of "Sex and the City." Olivier Theyskens put Parker in a silver dress by Nina Ricci that had already been worn by Lindsay Lohan AND Vogue's Lauren Santo Domingo, even after he assured her no one else had worn it. Wow. Surely this sort of thing is embarrassing for a celebrity -- especially one making the rounds for a fashion-centric movie -- but not as embarrassing as it is for the designer who obviously lost serious cool points. Parker, often portrayed in real-life as a humble sweetie pie, handled it with some degree of aplomb. My question: Why didn't she just wear Bitten?
