Take Our Project Runway Winning Look Challenge!by nana at July 16, 2008, 10:04 PM Each week our Merchandising Maven, Mindy Dorf combs the Bluefly site to find the three pieces that best represent the winning look and it is not an easy thing. (Props to Mindy for picking these product matches (2073398, 2052830, 2113224) for this week's look!) If you think you can do better, let us have it. Just search the Bluefly site, and when you find the products you think make a better match, leave the style #s as a comment. CommentsI really enjoyed this first show, and was in total agreement (which is rare) with the winning design. I thought the satin part of the top would sort of make up for the "belt" of the original look. And also the layer underneath of pleating is replaced by the fun bottom part. Posted by: Mary at July 23, 2008 11:29 PM I know that the ‘outfit’ I am suggesting does not have the pattern the designer has with her dress, but I believe that the style is the idea of the design: a high waist dress of a subtly bold pattern ‘cut’ by a unique belt of a contrasting color and shoes that would compliment the pattern in the dress. style #'s 2108843, 2070214, and 2113224. Posted by: Mae at July 24, 2008 1:00 AM I wanted to do the challenge for the third episode in which they had to take pictures of certain spots in NYC and use those pictures for inspiration. My interpretation for Kenley's look would include these three things: #300796102, #300451901, #21245389. I would layer the T-Bags dress over the pink BCBG dress. I think the two contrasting necklines would match up well. The key is to pull up the T-Bags dress enough so the bubble of the BCBG dress is apparent. I liked the shoes that Mindy picked out, but could not fidn them when I was searching, so I chose the next best green pumps.
