Why Isn't 'National Underwear Day' a Bank Holiday?

Fresh-Pair_Lydia-Hearst_Bluefly-blog 025-crop.jpg Okay, there was a lot going on at last night's Flesh - er FRESH Pair event in celebration of National Underwear Day as an eclectic assortment of stars (Russell Simmons, Lydia Hearst, Richie Rich, Tyson Beckford) studded the crowd of oglers:

1. I fell in love with a certain Sean John model.

2. The female models looked just like we do in undies -- dimpled cheeks, stretch marks & all... Refreshing & terrifying!!

3. Lydia Hearst quoted a Latin phrase that translated into "Never get caught without underwear." ??

4. Lydia Hearst redeemed herself from the abovementioned quote by raising the very pertinent question: "How many of these [male models] are really packing what we're seeing on the runway?"

5. Oh and, there was some really cute underwear by Le Mystere and Natori.
