The Search: Gut-Flattering Skirts

prodImage-3.jpgprodImage-4.jpgSome time after my 20s, I found the types of skirts that were flattering on me had moved far far away from the tight pencil skirts and denim minis of yore. Whatever, I'm not advocating my bad lifestyle choices (buffalo wings! pilates avoidance!), but I will tell you what's made me happy: skirts that glide over the gut. Drawstring, pleats near the top, skirts that don't make your 5'2" self any shorter. These make the difference in my lazy, short world. Right now, I'm loving the skirts above from Thomas Wylde and two others from Tocca and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Now pass that cheesesteak on over.
