Michelle Obama To Get Her Own Style Guideby Najwa Moses at November 21, 2008, 1:00 PM
(Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images) Commentsy'all better not say anything about the first lady-elect. she is too cute. You have to be kidding me! Does Carrie Feron not remeber the hideous red and black thing she wore the night of the election!!! Posted by: Teri at November 22, 2008 10:48 AM Please don't hate on the Obama's! They have it going on! Posted by: Anonymous at November 22, 2008 12:49 PM I think that Michelle is feeling her way into this role of First Lady, she has a more down to earth style, but with a little fashion help, she has the body to pull it off, she wears her clothes well no matter what she has on, Just step it up a bit Michelle. Robertha Posted by: ROBERTHA DUNCAN at November 24, 2008 9:41 AM Some people just need to get a grip and grow up. I thought Michelle Obama dress was beautiful on the day of Election.. Futhermore Michelle don't dress to please you and no one else for that matter!!! What she wasnt' showing enough clevage for AMERICA!!!! Is this why her dress wasnt enought class to Bad!!!! Michelle you rock !!! Posted by: Samantha Flowers at November 24, 2008 8:59 PM I haven't liked anything yet that she has worn. They gave Sarah grief but she had class and sytle......Michelle doesn't. I HATED that red and black thing that drew your eyes to her no bust and groin area. What was that about? And there was a dress that the only thing you noticed in the back was it's silver zipper! Jackie O. Hell NO! no where close! Posted by: robin at November 24, 2008 11:43 PM Stop hating people. Get over it! Just because shes Posted by: pj at November 25, 2008 5:34 AM I THINK THAT MECHELLE IS AN VERY PRETTY LADY W/ HER OWN DRESSING IDEAL DONT HATE APPRECATION AN PERSON WHO DOSE EVERTHING ON HER OWN. TRUST ME SMART REMARK WILL NOT BREAK HER. (YOU GO GIRL SOMEONE HATING.) Posted by: Anonymous at November 25, 2008 11:08 AM The most positive things about Michelle are how she represents us as Black women. She is raising her two daughters with her husband (not by herself). She is intelligent. Her smile could light up a planet. She clearly loves, admires and stands next to her man. And their daughters are lovely -- down to earth and lovely. In fact the whole family is down to earth while at the same time being smart and fun and people we can relate to and who care about us as Americans, Black, White, Yellow, Red, Mocha, Peach colored, Ebony, the whole rainbow of us all. Posted by: BELLA at November 27, 2008 8:47 AM How could any human being compare Michelle Obama's manner of dress to Sara Palin. Sarah always looked as though her things were purchased in a flea market. There is just no comparison with quality nor style. Posted by: Ms D at November 27, 2008 1:22 PM I think Michelle will be fine. The red & black dress was not good but may it just didn't work good on TV. All of her other outfits have been very nice. She will a fine fiest lady. Posted by: JJ at November 29, 2008 7:47 PM While Mrs. Obama is an attractive woman she will never be a Jackie Kennedy in style. She can only hope for good style advisors around her that dress her better than she was on election night. Posted by: JR at November 30, 2008 9:21 PM I Think Michelle has it going on and no matter what she wears she is the first Afican American First Lady. Everybody needs to get on the Obamas Level because they are doing the Danmn thing..My Presidents Black.MuahZzzz Posted by: Tamra at November 30, 2008 9:44 PM KEEP IN MIND MRS. OBAMA IS A BLACK LADY. WHAT I DONT WANT TO SEE IS THE SUIT WEARING FIRST LADIES OF THE PAST. LET HER REPRESENT MICHELLE AND NOT HOW WE THINK SHE OUGHT TO DRESS. CAN'T YOU TELL SHE IS A STRONG WILLED INDIVIDUAL AND WILL NOT BE PULLED AROUND LIKE A PUPPET ON A STRING AND TOLD WHAT TO DO. SOME OF THE OUTFITS ARE TO BE DESIRED, BUT SHE HAS SO MUCH OF EVERYTHING ELSE IN HER PACKAGE UNTIL YOU FORGET WHAT SHE HAS ON. LISTEN TO WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY. PLUS YOU THAT ARE COMPLAING PROBABLY LOOK LIKE A PIECE OF (WELL I HAD BETTER NOT SAY THAT BUT YOU KNOW. YOU KNOW. Posted by: JUDY at December 4, 2008 7:00 PM Post a comment
