Gossip Girl: Talk About "It" Baggage

Okay, we may never see the books Serena and Blair carry around in their It Bags, but considering all the shizz these schoolgirls have to deal with, they must be doing something right if they can even think about getting into Yale.

Tonight, Eleanor introduced Blair to her new boyfriend, Cyrus Rose -- as in Aaron Serena's-new-lust-man Rose's father. Then Eleanor considers skipping Blair's b'day party to go to a concert with Cyrus. (Blair and Serena really do have so much in common...) Blair does some digging and finds out Cyrus cheated on his last wife and tries to manipulate the sitch to get him out of her mother's life -- but he outsmarts her. Cyndi Lauper(!!) appears to sing at her party!! Dorota is starstruck.

Moving right along to Serena who is totally enamored with Like Father-Like Playboy Son, Aaron. He's chosen her to be his muse, but it seems he's got a few of those...

Jenny, meanwhile, continues her path of fury. She moves in with Agnes to keep up the momentum on her fashion line, but their friendship unravels when she Agnes realize they're on two completely different pages creatively. Jenny cuts Agnes off. Agnes turns to arson and torches Jenny's designs. Basically, it's a hot mess that ends with Jenny trying to seek emancipation from her father so she can start her business on her own, in spite of the fact that she's a minor.

But Jenny was not the only Humphrey bringing the drama this week. Dan tries to get cool with Chuck again so he can help Noah Shapiro write a Vanity Fair expose on Bart Bass. When Chuck realizes what Dan is up to, he gives Dan fake info about a crime Bart committed back in the day -- only find out there's some truth in his lie.

You can't make this stuff up -- well, actually you can. And we love it! XOXO
