They're baaaack! And by "back," we mean back together. Rufus is back with Lily, and Serena is back with Dan (after breaking up with Aaron over winter break - how convenient, writers). Aww... and Ick! Yes, it's messy and it's going to get messier as Rufus is determined to find the love child Lily gave up; Dan and Serena share a half-sibling; and Lily is now Chuck's legal guardian. Stay tuned...

Speaking of, Chuck returned from alcohol-soaked mourning, contemplating suicide in dark blazers. We smell a reunion between him and Blair next week.

Jenny is also back in school. Yay! We were wondering when she would go back to Constance Billiard and realize her deep-pocketed schoolmates could double as clients for her designs. The mean girls are at it again -- doing their best to be the bane of J's high school existence, but our girl of the shaggy bangs is scrapping back with blackmail as a distracted Blair focuses on another crew of mean girls at the Colony Club.

And of course, the fashion is back. It was a long hiatus, but the Gossips returned with sartorial vigor. No sequins tuxes this week, but Serena was paparazzi-ready in flash-catching metallics, while Dan was constant in his tweeds and cords.

One comeback we'd like to see is Nate's -- sartorial and storyline-wise. He's been languishing in poor man's land which is apparently a no man's land in Gossip world.
