SAG Awards Watch: The Best of the Best Dresses

Did you watch? Everyone was wearing one-shoulder dresses, or red. Vintage or vintage-looking bling was big too with lots of brooches and clips catching camera flashes on the carpet. Like the Golden Globes, our faves were the fashion-forward standouts that were photogenic too.

We've been poo-pooing the parade of goddess gowns that normally proliferate the red carpet just because they've become so predictable, but while most of the night's SAG stars went with one-shoulder numbers, Mad Men's January Jones stood out in a gorgeous Grecian goddess with intricate bodice detail.

The Wrestler's Evan Rachel Wood just killed it with her fresh take on old Hollywood glam in a split one-shoulder gown with a blinging brooch and royal purple Sergio Rossi sandals with matching clutch.

We thought Teri Hatcher looked like sweet confection in this gently crushed one shoulder dress by Monique Lhuillier. We loved the addition of the hairline thin belt.

The genius of Viola Davis' sartorial choice was the color. The canary yellow gown was gold against her skin.

Oscar winner, Forest Whitaker's wife looked really sophisticated in this emerald gown sewn in pieces to accentuate her great shape.

Who do you think was the best dressed?
