This denim "fur" coat was hand stitched from single strands of raw denim!
Just when you thought you'd seen every incarnation of denim there is, G Star brings you "fur" and "leather" made out of denim. The G Star Fall 2009 collection was a parade of innovation as raw and treated denim in every incarnation you can imagine -- Hammer pants, coats, head scarves, cocktail dresses -- sauntered down the runway to the accompaniment of a piano recital. This was ANTM winner, McKey's first show of the week. (Yes, she still keeps in touch with some of her castmates; no, she and Tyra don't hang out all the time, but the mogul does check in with her from time to time, but more on that in a few when I upload the video...) And Benicio Del Toro (!!) closed the show with a poem. The question is, are you ready for the future of denim?
