We were definitely feeling Rihanna's "Tattoo Heart" campaign with Gucci which is why I was so elated when our buyers scooped up a few pieces from the sizzling collection. The pieces aren't up on the site yet, but since you are dedicated readers, we're giving you a heads up about what's to come -- I mean, we are the home of the ultimate hook-up for the fashion-obsessed!

Being the lucky girl that I am, I had the privilege of trying on the blue suede 'Tattoo Heart' platform sandals and examining the tan leather 'Babouska' tattoo heart tote. I especially like the GG plus canvas on the wedges and the fact that the tattoo print is at the back of the heel -- it's nice that it isn't the first thing people see as you walk toward them.

As for the 'Babouska' bag, its best quality is the butter soft grain leather which will get more character as it ages. And although it's a tote, the straps are large enough to carry over the shoulder, and the interior is definitely spacious enough to carry all the essentials (magazine, water bottle, wallet, make-up bag, etc). Check your emails and the site. The pieces should be up in the next week or two!
