Gosh, I haven't seen tweed, velour and velvet this yummy in years (lol!) Seriously, Proenza Schouler's tweed pieces (short and jacket sets, dropped-waist coat dresses and mini skirts) has me excited for the fall; he takes brightly colored velour and velvet and layers it on top of sheer fabrics, inserts it into wool and jersey dresses in a pattern that gives the dresses a futuristic edge and pays homage to a classic black knee length velour skirt by simply leaving it alone. I'm thinking that Michelle Obama may want to take a gander at his collection.
