The powerful fashion executive (cue Anna Wintour) in a dizzying array of heavily patterned grey, plum and black skirt and jacket sets with super curvy silhouettes, gave way to the freedom loving Gyspy of the night--most notably played out in layered, flowing frocks and harem pants in butter yellows, soft purples and blush pinks. The flapper and the Geisha warred heavily for center stage via the heavily made-up Kewpie Doll style make-up and the deep-set waves hairstyle that screams: "Roaring Twenties." What I find interesting about this collection is that it's neither innovative nor trendy, but somehow still comes across as buyer worthy and fashion forward.
