As Bluefly's jewelry copywriter, my desk is usually inundated with pieces from the who's-who of jewelry design. Nancy Cohen, AV Max, and Jardin are just a few of my favorites. I personally love jewelry that is simple and minimalist, but I am now completely head over heels with spring's chunky jewelry trend, especially Roxanne Assoulin's layered necklaces for her Lee Angel line. Everything from the colors, to the sizing and the stones used is right on target with my "ready for spring" state of mind. Plus, the minimalist in me respects the careful craftsmanship and originality of Assoulin's work. (Check out her use of metallic threading on these 'Kate' earrings!) So when spring finally gets here, I'll be wearing one of her chunky layered designs. Putting the right outfit together? Now that's a different story.
