Men's Wear Columnist Stan Gellers Dies

stan-gellers-blueflys-blog-flypaper.jpgStanley Gellers, known as "Uncle Stan" to many of his younger colleagues, covered the men's wear industry for Fairchild Publications for more than 50 years, died Saturday, March 21 from lung cancer.

A veteran of DNR and Menswear, both former Fairchild Publications, Gellers was arguably the industry's foremost authority on tailored clothing.

In his later years, he became a columnist for DNR, a where he alwasy served up an unabashed opinion on some of the most important issues and personalities within the men¹s wear community.
