Is it just me, or does America's Next Top Model every year seem to pick women who are increasingly un-modelesque? The fashion industry's opposition to petite women on the runways isn't stopping Tyra any: Right now the show is casting women for next season that are 5'7" and under. We appreciate Tyra's desire to change the standard of model beauty, but it's another thing for houses like Badgely Mischka or Balenciaga to take up the cause because of a reality show. The Cut mentions only two models who have made it and are shorter than 5'7": Kate Moss and Devon Aoki.
