Michelle Obama recently wore a leaf-print tank blouse very similar to this BCBG blouse with a royal purple jacket and pinstripe trousers -- a surprising choice since mixing stripes with florals can be as blasphemous as wearing white after Labor Day in some circles. Later in the day, she shed her blazer, but kept the top on to plant trees with the Student Conservation Association. I think the gamble paid off as she stylishly reinterpreted the woman's work uniform for spring, playing off the mannish stripes with rich colors and bold prints. How would you wear a top like this?
