She actually wore something really similar to this at an event where the President was presented with a replica of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. I love the sweetheart straps and the contrast of the tight top with the full skirt. The yellow belt adds just the right pop to give this '50s throwback dress some modern kick. I could see some cool booties with it (for a Rihanna-type vibe) or some patent flats a la Michelle Obama.
