Karl Lagerfeld Chanel Ad -- Fly or Bye?

From a purely creative standpoint, this "designer fast food" ad for Chanel is genius. I mean, how cool would it be if your local McDonald's servers wore designer uniforms, served your food on Chanel logo embossed silver trays 'stead of greasy plastic ones, and takeaway came in designer canvas bags? We'd definitely like some fly with our order. BUT Karl Lagerfeld's comment effs it up -- kinda like super clunky shoes with a maxi dress. I thought health was the healthiest motivation for losing weight... Think how much better this ad would've been if the copy had read s'thing like: "Chanel. Mmmmm..." What would you have written to go along with this ad?

I like the advert - makes a play, makes you look again, amkes you wonder, which is ideal.

I love Karl!!! He's clearly crazy but I love his fabulosity!

“She's embracing new designers, different designers, she's not conforming to a certain mold of what a first lady should be. I think she's truly a modern woman in every sense.”
