Do You Secretly Love The Fact That Your Groom Doesn't Want To Help?

Carmen_Marc_Valvo_ivory_chiffon_beaded_v-neck_gown_Bluefly.jpgThe New York Times, posted a recent article lamenting the woes of grooms who have very little resources that guide them as far as their 'involvement, role and duties' for the wedding preparation.

I say: so what!?

Seriously, I've had several friends over the years who've come crying to me about how their grooms don't want to pick out the paper stock of the wedding invitations, the flavor of the cake, the color of the dresses, the matching cummerbunds etcetera.....

Am I the only one who thinks that when it comes to wedding planning, the man should simply step aside, toss me his platinum card and show up on the day of with the tux I picked out for him and laid carefully across his bed that morning?

I mean seriously, ladies how many times are we going to get men to completely open up their coffers with very little questions asked?

I say: go for the gold --'cause gosh dangit here comes the bride!!!

“She's embracing new designers, different designers, she's not conforming to a certain mold of what a first lady should be. I think she's truly a modern woman in every sense.”
