INTERVIEW WITH LISA K. 1. Are you a fan of Gossip Girl?
I am a drama-addict! I can't get enough of the show.
2. Which Gossip Girl character's style is closest to yours?
Definitely Serena!
3. What was your reaction when you found out you won?
I screamed sooooo hard. My kids and husband thought I was crazy. I couldn't sleep all night. I kept thinking.....I'm finally going to have a great purse!!!
4. What's the first thing you're going to buy with your $5000?
I already have, and it arrived today! =) I bought a Gucci wallet, a Carlos Falchi Bag (silver, and very very flashy!), two down pillows, and 600 thread count sheets! Oh la la! I'm eyeing up what fancy purse I'm going to spend the rest on. Hmmmmm, Prada, Versace, Miu Miu? Oh, these decisions are tough! I need a nap. He he he. =)

INTERVIEW WITH JENN S. 1. Are you a fan of Gossip Girl?
While I can't list myself as a bonafide fan, I think the young ladies on Gossip Girl are fabulous. I've been seeing them a lot in my magazines (loved Blake [Lively] in Allure!) and think they all have great style.
2. Which Gossip Girl character's style is closest to yours?
As a young adult, I used to surf, sing in a ska/rock band and work as a makeup artist (which meant wearing all black). Since I live in Hawaii, there isn't much opportunity to dress up -- but we have our own style here too. I love wearing slippers (aka flip flops) with sundresses, basic black tanks and jeans, cute sandals, cropped pants with a pretty top. I really like Jenny's style. Especially her edgier rocker look. It still has a feminine touch, which I love. Since she's trying to get into the fashion industry, I can see why she takes fashion risks. I wish I could be more adventurous with my wardrobe...and this is a great opportunity to try out some new looks!
3. What was your reaction when you found out you won?
My first reaction was disbelief. I've never won anything so wonderful before! After working in high end retail cosmetics for 11 years, I've been a work-at-home Mom for a little over a year now, trying to get my tiny children's t-shirt line, Starr Candy off the ground. We're also expecting our second child in July, so my wardrobe is in dire need of a makeover! What better way to update a Soccer Mom's wardrobe than with a fabulous guilt-free shopping spree!
4. What's the first thing you're going to buy with your $5000?
I love messenger bags. My first purchase was a matching Prada Messenger Bag and wallet. My first Prada ever! I also got a Mark Nason Cooper Dragon Messenger Bag (from the Men's section...but its like my dream bag). I also splurged on a pair of Dior sunglasses (which will make my fashion forward pals happy -- my other sunglasses are surf shades!). There are always such great deals, so I've purchased some great summer basics (which I can use year round!) -- but I'm going to use the rest to motivate myself to get back in shape after baby! Talk about incentive!
I want to add a warm "MAHALO" to Bluefly.com for such a fantastic prize. I can't begin to express my excitement. My first purchase [on the site] was a simple dress for my wedding (for under $120!) which I'm wearing in the picture above. It was the perfect dress, customer service was outstanding and it really made our day special. Now I'm embarking on a new phase of my life, a new business, new additions to the family - and now I'll be doing it with a fabulous new wardrobe (and cool handbags and shoes to boot!). Thank you again for your generosity!
INTERVIEW WITH ELIZABETH P. 1. Are you a fan of Gossip Girl?
I don't have a TV, but I am a follower of fashion and the actors and actresses that are in the show seem to be in the magazines all the time.
2. Which Gossip Girl character's style is closest to yours?
I went to an Upper East Side school very similar to the one upon which Gossip Girl is based so I'd have to say that even though I don't watch the show, I do relate to the need to find an individual style within the confines of wearing a school uniform.
3. What was your reaction when you found out you won?
I have never won anything before, so I was shocked when the message came through early on a Saturday morning that I had won. I couldn't believe it.
4. What's the first thing you're going to buy with your $5000?
I'm still trying to decide amongst the choices. I need a new wallet, but if a pair of Louboutin heels is available in a size 6, they'll be hard to resist.
