Bluefly's Wearing: Wyatt Boyfriend Tees

One of the things that never ceases to fascinate me about fashion is how two people can wear the same item totally different ways. Last week, we performed that experiment x6 when a few of us Bluefly girls congregated in Bluefly's studio and played model for a day wearing Wyatt boyfriend t-shirts.

Kate (far left), Bluefly's t-shirt buyer rocked her hi-lo hem v-neck tee with her usual tomgirl chic. She paired it with a boyfriend vest, cuffed jeans, layers of cool accessories, and BCBGMaxAzria booties while Grace, who always keeps it feminine around the office in flowing print skirts, charm bracelets and necklaces played up the tee's asymmetrical hem by letting a tiered mini skirt peek out from under it. (P.S. how amazing do her legs look?!!)

In the same way, Mindy D. (you might remember her as our Project Runway secret agent, "Double 0 Dorf") fancified her scoopneck pocket tee by tucking it into a pencil skirt and cinching the look with an oversized belt. Meanwhile, Mindy Y., who manages the process of getting Bluefly's promotions up and running on the site, took the same t-shirt and totally blinged it out with sequins leggings, studded Jimmy Choos, and a sick leather vest. "I like to add a little bling to my t-shirts," she explained.

Finally, Quan, a self-avowed minimalist who strays into chunky jewelry territory every now and then, kept her v-neck swing tee clean and classic with jeans, sneakers, and a few charm trinkets. As for me, as per my usual, I ignored the fact that it was a tee and wore my v-neck as a micro dress (I wore shorts underneath it, Mommy) with piles of jewelry, and over-the-knee boots.

Probably the only consensus among us as far as our Wyatt t-shirts went was the fact that they were incredibly soft (Kate informed us the semi-sheer cotton the tees are made of is called "slub" - "It's meant to feel like a second skin.") That, and the fact that we're so lucky we don't have an office dress code.
