Carlos Miele Spring 2010: Feeling It?

Set to soothing a Brazilian music serenade directed by Max de Castro, Carlos Miele's models pranced down the runway in his spring 2010 looks which featured fluttering chiffon minis, sexy ombre caftans, fringe, and "dreadlock" ropes of fabrics twisted into straps on dresses and maneuvered into sharp bolero jackets. There were some harsh moments -- the show's closer, a stretch charmeuse gown that was half black embroidery and half print was not my favorite -- but overall, as soothing and sexy as the soundtrack.
