What She's Wearing: A mustard cardi over an autumn color print blouse, and dotted gold pencil skirt with a wide brown belt.
Where She's Wearing It: In the White House East Room speaking about health care insurance and how it affects older women, in particular (Nov. 13, 2009)
How You Can Wear It Too:
1. A yellow cardigan -- if you with a plain skirt, try a print or textured cardigan like this striped style by Autumn Cashmere or this crochet puff sleeve sweater by Juicy Couture
2. A print blouse -- this Twenty8Twelve top or this silk floral Ali Ro blouse would be fab.
3. This yellow Ali Ro pencil skirt -- again, if you go with a simple cardigan, try a pencil skirt with texture, print, or special detail. The right yellow cardi would nicely pick up gold zipper detail in this funkdafied Loeffler Randall skirt. If you're not feeling the whole yellow/mustard/gold theme, try this Michael Kors ocean lurex Diamond pencil skirt. It would look hot with the right cardigan.
4. A statement belt
5. A gold stack of bangles -- these AV Max bracelets are a little thicker than Mrs. O's. If you want to go thinner, these Danielle Stevens bangles are banging.
6. These flower burst Bing Bang earrings
7. Textured platforms or booties in either a neutral brown or black or bold jeweltone depending on the color palette you decide on for your outfit. Go for shoes that either pick up a color in your blouse or match the color of your belt.
