For the past several seasons, Rachel Roy has opted to present her collection in the showroom a block away from Bryant Park that she shared with ex-husband Damon Dash. For spring 2010, Roy -- who also launched a more affordable diffusion line currently being sold at Macy's -- staged a production in Manhattan's west side Cedar Lake dance studios. The collection reflected her signature attention to slouchy chic and elegant draping. With '80s references punctuating most designers' spring 2010 lines, Roy told us she is not about trend chasing.
