My favorite part of shooting Bluefly's "girl-on-the-street" t-shirt promo, was all the "men-on-the-street." Model Cerelina really brought all the (camera-strapped) boys to the yard. With so many insta-papparazos at the ready we just had to ask them to jump in the actual pictures. They happily obliged and the outcome couldn't have been planned any better.
While Cerelina strutted back and forth across 5th Avenue in her Torn tee, one young man worked up the courage to approach her with -- get this -- a weight loss flyer. He did, at least, say he knew she didn't need it; he was simply desperate to say something, clearly ANYTHING, as an excuse to speak to her. The bustier style Casual Couture by Green Envelope top drew glances from another guy -- followed by a jab to the ribs by his girlfriend. Ooops!
Hilarity ensued the rest of the day with a constant hum of, "who's that girl?" whispers following us wherever we went. Now I can't promise a throng of camera flashes when you wear your tees, but you're sure to turn some heads and break a few hearts.
“Well, I, uh - I read in The New York Times this week that I'm an ice queen, I'm the Sun King, I'm an alien fleeing from District 9 and I'm a dominatrix. So I reckon that makes me a lukewarm royalty with a whip from outer space.”
