Way before the "boyfriend" look was in, Yigal Azrouel was whipping up slouchy comfort clothes for girls to swaddle themselves in and this season was no different. As Entourage's Emmanuelle Chriqui looked on from the Front Row, the designer sent boyfriend jackets and slouchy shorts down the runways as well as exciting tough girl mini dresses. The minis were constructed from slashes of patched together fabrics, featuring sheer inserts that gave the illusion of sleevelessness, while the jackets were fitted at the top with flaring tails. For the most part, the color palette was neutral with the odd pop of citrine and print. I appreciate the painstaking attention to detail and the consistency of his voice. What do you think?
