In a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Oct. 1, Alexander McQueen has accused Steven Madden Ltd. for supposedly copying the designer's own Faithful bootie. The suit alleges that Steve Madden's Seryna bootie is a "studied imitation" of McQueen's Faithful design, which was inspired by a motorcycle jacket.

McQueen's lawyers add, "In fact, the only design element of the 'Faithful Bootie' that Madden did not deliberately copy is the zipper pull that contains the 'Alexander McQueen' trademark."

I must admit, even Stevie Wonder could see that McQueen is right -- McQueen's boot is the one on the left.

Lets get ready to rumble!!
