Between one-shoulders, flutter sleeves, puff shoulders, and off-the-shoulders, shoulders have been huge on the runway and the red carpet. At the Costume Institute's "Model as Muse" exhibit, Rihanna rocked a puff sleeve tux, and at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris earlier this week, Katy Perry rocked this metallic bold shoulder top.
A great way to balance out big shoulders is with a skinny silhouette on the bottom -- think a pencil skirt, skinny jeans, or leggings. Or, you can pair puffy shoulders with a cinched waist and a bubble skirt to create curve-accentuating shape.
