How To Transition Denim Cut-off Shorts For Fall

by Najwa Moses at October 6, 2009, 1:00 PM

Denim shorts whether homemade, super short or a bit longer are a non-offending classic, not to mention super comfy! Thus, we certainly want you to be able to hold onto this piece and have given you a few options on the best way to rock these shorts until winter.

When transitioning any summer piece into fall, the foundation of the wardrobe is key. Here the foundation consists of standard black leggings by LnA, fashionable fall boots and a stylish blazer and/or cardigan. For a more sexy, rocker chic look pair Ash's black leather 'Uranus Bis' slouched ankle boots with Paper Denim & Cloth distressed short shorts and Priorities black studded 'The Loraine' boyfriend blazer. If you want a little less edge, try out Juicy Couture's stretch frayed bermudas shorts with Michael Kors' honey leather 'Casey' over-the-knee shearling boots and Free People's red cotton plaid ruffle front blazer. For an in-between look switch out the above mentioned combos' blazers with Free People's grey heather cotton slouchy dolman cardigan.

Enjoy!

I have the Casey boot and although they are not this season I LOVE them and get TONS of compliments on them! They make you feel so put together when you're walking around with them. Great picks!
