Just when the designers thought they could get away with working solo, the team project reared its head! Their challenge: create a look inspired by the Sky.
The teams were: Louise and Nicolas (let's call them, Team "Birds of a Feather"), Christopher and Epperson, Carol Hannah and Shirn, Althea and Logan (Team "Love Birds"), Irina and Gordana. Some were happy, and some, well, they'll never be happy.
The snipes were in abundance. Nicholas hated Louise's ruffles, because it hides flaws. (Yeah, Nicholas, how dare women have flaws to hide>!) There was also weirdness. What was up with Louise and her chirping bird noises? She claimed it helped with her stress, but truth be told, it made me pretty nervous. We also had happy-go-lucky as Althea mooned over Logan's 'genius' designs, while Epperson expressed how happy he was not to be a team leader.
Speaking of happy... we are! Michael Kors was back and he brought a bag of sass with him! 'Disco pumpkin' will be my new phrase when I see something ugly (sorry Christopher!). But at the end of the runway, Louise and her birds were asked to fly far far away. Irina won with a flowing chiffon v-neck empire dress.
And in even happier news, Michael is shown in full sass for the next episode! Now, how do we get Captain Full-of-Himself (a.k.a. Nicholas) booted off?
