Three Types of Shoes To Rock With Wide Leg Jeans

Like many of you, I'm still on the fence as to whether I can add a pair of wide leg jeans to my wardrobe, especially after so many seasons of rocking skinny jeans. But the real dilemma lies in the fact, that without the proper footwear, wide leg jeans can make one look a bit 'schubbly'. That said, here are three types of shoes that you can wear right now, to own this look.


Not for the faint of fashion heart, these Giuseppe Zanotti black suede gladiator platform sandals will not only have you standing tall among others, but scream 'fashion power!' If, however, you're a bit more modest, these Charles by Charles David purple leather basketwoven 'Carumba' flats will make a perfectly bold but subtle statement with your wide legs. Just please note: flats with this type of jean works better on taller girls. If you're somewhere down the middle, Sam Edelman's black leather lace-up wedge boots will certainly do the trick and should keep your feet comfy for most of the day.
