Bluefly_Thanksgiving_cook_off_spread.jpgYou know it's on when your co-worker brings a full-on turkey to the employee cook-off. This afternoon, Bluefly employees got in the Thanksgiving spirit by getting competitive in our first ever "Top Fly" competition. There were empanadas; there were fish cakes; and, yes there was beer -- Chimay, to be specific -- a key ingredient in the Carbonade our CMO made that ended up winning the "savory" challenge on one floor.

What was left of the winning Carbonade...

Lest you think brown nosing was involved in our CMO's win, you should know it was all very Board of Elections over here. The dishes were labeled with numbers only and ballots were counted behind the closed door of our HR veep for no less than 15 minutes. Our Marketing Manager's banana pudding took the top spot in the "sweet category". Just a floor below, our Office Manager savored his savory victory -- his fish cakes were slamming! -- while our photographer won for her peanut butter pie.

Stay tuned for the "Top Fly" Masters Round. On December 10th, the winners will cook for the whole company.
