The King of Hype a.k.a. fashionisto wannabe -- yea, I said it -- and last we heard, an intern for Marc Jacobs, won't be launching his $700 Louis Vuitton sneaker line until the end of the year. Previously set to launch this past spring, no one has any clue as to why the realease of the much hyped sneakers has been pushed back... However, for those of us who are heavy Kanye followers, the man has been known to discuss launching his fashion line Pastelle for a thousand years and noone has seen that yet. I mean, not even a t-shirt or baseball cap...

Olay Signs Twiggy As New Spokesmodel

Twiggy has been named a spokeswoman for Olay Definity in the U.K. The Sixties icon will begin appearing in print ads for Olay Definity Eye Illuminator this month. Twiggy -- aka Lesley Hornby -- already acted as a spokeswoman for the Procter & Gamble Co.-owned brand in 1985. The model, who will turn 60 later this year, inked a one-year contract with Olay.

Sarah Jessica Parker Casting For New Bravo Show

Sarah Jessica Parker is on a roll. Right on the heels of her becoming a mom to twin girls last week, she's now casting for her new BRAVO competiiton reality series dubbed The Untitled Art Project. The series will focus on thirteen up-and-coming artists who compete for a gallery show, a cash prize and a sponsored national tour. Wear it Like the King of Pop

It's almost been a week since the tragic passing of the King of Pop, and many people are still compelled to celebrate the legend's life, hence the many Michael Jackson themed parties going on around the city this weekend (many of which I plan on attending).

In recognition of his role as a fashion icon, I'm paying homage to him with a fresh Michael Jackson inspired outfit!

The obvious MJ fashion piece is the infamous sparkly white glove (I'm breaking out the bedazzler and making one at home) but the pop icon also made big aviators, zip jackets, and black loafers incredibly cool. I got on Bluefly and ordered these sweet aviators by Marc Jacobs which totally resemble the King of Pop's as well as these moonwalk-friendly black loafers by Kors Michael Kors. I'm going to dig in my closet for an old leather jacket, otherwise I'll probably get this zip denim jacket by Diesel to finish off the look.

Beyoncé and Tina Knowles Launch Sasha Fierce

Yea, didn't you think it was coming? Sasha Fierce this and Sasha Fierce that, I'm not surprised that they're now launching a clothing line with the moniker.

Utilizing the name of the singer's alter ego and third solo album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce," the mother and daughter design team plans to launch a new junior apparel label, Sasha Fierce for Deréon, for back-to-school selling. The collection, which is inspired by Beyoncé's stage presence (she is on a world tour through November), includes a full range of sportswear, outerwear, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie and jewelry.

The collection, Tina said, is "edgier and trendier and reflects Sasha Fierce's daring and outgoing attitude."

The jewelry, shoes and eyewear, she added, "are really over the top" with large chains made in mixed metals such as silver with gold, heavily studded shoes and oversize sunglasses while the clothes are a little more subdued to make the accessories stand out -- a one-shoulder dress, black bodysuit, fake leather jacket with oversize collar, leggings and destructed jeans with mesh and lace details lining the ripped material.

Cue up the music from your fave '80s sitcom...cause that's where this collection is headed.

Marc Jacobs Pushes Back Wedding

Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone's wedding has been pushed back to August owing to the designer's hectic work schedule. They will wed in Provincetown, Massachusetts, where Jacobs' business partner Robert Duffy has a home.
